We have several warehouses that we do not use and we have discovered Sage doesn't have a way to delete them. We would like to see this as program change soon. It looks like many other companies are having the same issue.

Even if we could use Inactive would help (same concept as A/R Customer Maintenance) then we can filter these for reports and lookups.
Ability to inactivate and restrict warehouses was added as an enhancement in Sage 100 2018 (6.00).
You can delete warehouses that are not in use.
Been trying to delete inactive warehouses for quite a while for a client. First issue was to make sure there were no transactions in history so purged older transactions. Made sure there were no balances. Check. Now it wants to make sure that no warehouses are present in inventory maintenance whether they are 0 balances or not. You can go through and delete them one by one but it in this clients case there are literally thousands of them to delete. The system needs to recognize that the warehouse/item records are empty and allow for deletion automatically.
This will be available in the 2024 Release, scheduled for April 2024.
