busiest time for payroll, that would give an opportunity to update to the latest version. For example, for Sage 100 2016 TTU ends on 12/31/18. recent new Sage versions are out in 4th quarter. if Sage 2016 TTU support would have ended on 3/31/2019 instead, I would be able to upgrade to Sage 2019 which most likely to come out at the end of 2018. The best time to do upgrade is after current quarter is closed. There is no way to do upgrade in 1st quarter when you need new tax rates for new year payroll, and you need to take care of previous year forms. of course, it is possible to enter new rates manually, but if you have a lot of states it could be a headache. if end of support stays as it is, then I will upgrade to Sage 2018 in Q2 or Q3 of 2018 which will not be the latest.
