The Task Scheduler Log File currently appears to create a SY_SYActivityReportLogWrk file that contains all of the data from the SY_ActivityLog File. When the SY_ActivityLog file gets large, it takes a long time for this Wrk file to generate, and a message "Processing Work File Records / Task Scheduled Log" will show on the server for a long time (over an hour). Suggest that the Task Scheduler Log Wrk File be targeted to just the current task being run, rather than retrieving all of the records in the SY_ActivityLog.m4t file. If the "Processing Work File Records" gets hung up because of the large file size, other users can't update their batches without going to the server and killing this process.

  • I agree this should be fixed; the usefulness of Task Scheduler is greatly diminished because of this.

  • If this is the problem with why I can never get it to work, then fix it please.
