Currently in Payroll 2.0, the Check Register's "Other Taxes" column does not include Local/City Withholding taxes. Instead the Local/City Withholding taxes are combined with State withholding taxes in the column called "State Withholding". The Local/City taxes should not be combined with State taxes. It would be more appropriate to report Local/City withholding taxes in the "Other Taxes" column. It was done this way on the legacy payroll Check Register and this made sense to users.

  • Rick is right, local (City) taxes have nothing to do with State taxes. Plus the report totals combine them, which is wrong. I have had to create a custom report to just pull my local/state tax information so i can report my taxes and I never had to do this before.
