My client used IM Kits regularly. When we had the need for (and enabled) Bill of Materials, we had to create/maintain our sales kits in BOM (which is fine as it is more functional), however when exploding these kit components on an SO, the components are added to the SO in ITEM CODE order, not the SEQUENCE specified on the kit in BOM. This was not an issue when using IM Kits. Maintaining the sequence of components on a kit is very important for some clients.
