In the Sales Order module, when you create an order, it always defaults to Sales Order. There should be an option in Sales Order to be able to set the default to Quote or Sales Order.

There are many companies that send more quotes than sales orders. To have to change it ever time requires an extra click. There is also no easy way to change to change a sales order to a quote.

• Yes, doing this on a per user/workstation basis is much more efficient than a global setting. /eyeroll
