Sage 100 2014 used to create the posting comment in GL as "P/R PAYROLL JOURNAL - Pay period end date" ... The Sage 100 2018 version has the posting comment in GL as "P/R PAYROLL JOURNAL - Check Date".... We use the period end date for the payroll accruals when we are manually doing the accrual instead of Sage doing it programmatically.
