Next Record arrows should keep the Sort and Filter settings. Ex: A/P Invoice History Inquiry-Hit the magnifying glass and get a list of all the invoices, sorted by invoice #. But too hard to find something like that, so I use the Filter and change the search to Name and find the Vendor name. It now just lists the 20 invoices from that Vendor. I want to see data from each of these invoices. So I click on the 1st invoice. It opens up the detail. I now want to go to the next record to view. I hit the next arrow. The next record is a completely different Vendor! It lost my filter. I have to do another search, do the filter again to find the next record. Also once I hit OK in that screen, Loses the filter and sort and have to do it again. Why can't the invoice list screen keep the Filter and Sort and just return exactly the way the screen was prior to me clicking on the detail? Or at least the next arrows should only navigate through my found set. This works this way in almost every module. At least the item maintenance has a Green arrow you can click to keep the item list open. No other modules have that. But even that screen loses the filter and sort when you click on arrows.
