TIME TRACK DATA ENTRY CLERKS SHOULD NOT HAVE ACCESS TO PAY RATES AND AMOUNTS. i HAVE HIDDEN THESE IN THE WORKING COMPANY PANEL BUT WHEN MAKING A TEST COMPANY FOR TRAINING PURPOSES, THEY RETURN TO THE ORIGINAL FIELDS. WE MAKE TEST COMPANIES FREQUENTLY AND THIS ALLOWS STAFF WHO SHOULD NOT HAVE PAYROLL INFORMATION TO ACCESS IT. THIS NEEDS TO BE CORRECTED ASAP. THANK YOU

  • You wouldn't have to customize the screen, there is a Security Event in Role Maintenance that controls whether the user can see the Pay Rates and Amount in Time Track tasks.

    In Role Maintenance, go to the Security Events tab, open Payroll and look for:

    Display and Print Pay Rates in Time Track Tasks

    Turn this off for the role that your data entry clerks are assigned to.
