Many times per day our employees want to find a price, cost, bin location, customer phone number, address, etc. It would be much more intuitive for many of them to click on a desktop icon to get to these screens. A very restricted user would be linked to these short cuts.

Good news! This is already available. The Knowledgebase article below talks about Time Card but the same can be applied for Inventory Inquiry (IM_ITEMINQUIRY_UI) and Customer Inquiry (AR_CUSTOMERINQUIRY_UI).
