When working from a report / form printing dialog, the Designer button automatically creates a company / paper type / form code specific report file when an existing .rpt is not found. The problem is that this new named company file (default format) can break the functionality if a customized company, system, or named system report is in place.
A user may think they are going to work on the previously customized version, and a warning that no existing report was found will allow them to stop and ask before proceeding to break the link to the effectively customized form.
