Please update Report Manager requirements & functionality as it pertains to creating & adding custom crystal reports to Sage 100. The first suggested change would be to remove the requirement to add "Custom" to the end of the file name. There is absolutely no reason for this especially when you have a limit on the number of characters the file name can be. There also should be no limit on the file name size except standard OS limitations.

Also, please stop moving these custom reports to the root REPORTS folder in Sage 100. Since these are custom reports, they should remain where the customer has saved them. This folder should ONLY contain the default reports for the software. When you customize a standard report in Sage 100, a new folder is created under the reports folder located inside the "Company" folder. (ex: AP_AGEDINVOICEREPORT). Our company creates a folder called "XX_Custom" (XX = Module code) in our company reports folder and saves all our custom designed reports to the respective module folder. This way ALL our custom reports are stored in the same location.

When adding a custom report through Report manager, you have to browse out and tell the software where the report is located, report manager should simply be storing the file path and file name for this custom report. It should not be moving it to another location. If report manager is storing the file path and file name, there should also be no need to have "Custom" in the file name.
