When you have to reverse a lost check from a prior quarter and replace it, the payroll data entry of the reversal does not allow you to change the check date to the current quarter. This is a problem because your 941 Schedule B amounts are not correct and you can't refile the prior quarter 941. We had to change the Schedule B and the amounts on the first page as well. This would not be needed if we could override the check date.

Sage, FYI, the PR check reversal feature posts the Debit to cash to the current payroll period, in Bank Recon it goes to the original checks period. So the payroll posts it to the current GL date, but not in Bank Rec or the 941 filing in Aatrix. Isn't that a defect?
If the check to be reversed is in a prior quarter, it has to be done the old 14 step way, OR file form 941-C, both ways take a lot of time.
