Since Sage 2020 is still using Crystal Reports 2016, which only allows us to export data to Excel version 2003. Crystal Reports 2020 Runtime added in order to be able to Export to Excel in the full .xlsx format (not just Data-Only) My team would like to use the newest verison of Excel available for export purposes and to save time so files are compatible with other spreadsheets especially if we dealing with few tabs of data.

  • Crystal 2020 will be included with the Sage 100 2023 release.
