How about an option to change how the Production Entry serial number format is laid out. If I want to have a serial # with Letters designating the facility where something was built, or a year it was built, lot #, anything else I might want in the format. I would like to be able to set that up instead of the default just counting up. Not every serial number just counts up the last digit.

It also doesn't work well since my serial numbers have the year built as the last 2 digits, so I have to build multiple items one at a time since the current format just counts up to the next number which isn't how my serial numbers are setup. I have customers who's serial numbers for their machines have the model # of the machine as part of the serial # as well. So it would be very handy to be able to format it how you want it.
