In a manufacturing environment components have revisions just like finished goods. Production Management allows entry and tracking of revisions for the parent items but not for the components on a work ticket. The Bill of Materials module tracks revisions for the components on a bill of materials but they are lost when you copy the materials from a BOM onto a work ticket. Please add revisions to the materials on work tickets.
