We had a modification added by our former Sage vendor that added a button to bring up the next unused item number when adding new items. However, that vendor handed us off to another company and when we updated our Sage, that modification was no more. It would be nice to have that be a part of Sage as currently when adding an item, we have to search on all items, make a note of the last number, and then enter the next one for our new item. I've searched for where that information is stored and haven't found it yet.
