Existing function assigns Next General Journal Entry #. The reversing GJE# should assign the same Entry/Register/Journal number and Posting Date of the original entry.

This feature is planned for the 2025 Release.
The reversing entry will use the original posting date. If the posting date falls within a closed period, it will display a message indicating the date that will be used for the reversal.
