Why was this ever removed? If you don't like the functionality of the "Shift" key, just don't use the "Shift" key. Problem solved. I have several divisions within the company. Instead of being able to select a group of invoices using the "Shift" and "Ctrl" keys, you have to select one-by-one or do so in several passes. This was a very unnecessary change in my opinion.
