When using FIFO and inventory transactions that use multiple FIFO tiers seem to come up with their own unit cost. For example: I have a tier with a qty of 10 at $5 which extends to $50. I have another tier of 10 at $6 which extends out to $60. I then issue/sell 12. I receive 1 transaction record for a qty of 12 being relieved from inventory at a unit cost of $5.166. The end user would like to see 2 transactions. 1 for the first costing tier and 1 for the second. This will show actual FIFO costing in detail. The end user Auditor brought this up.
