Since the selection button was added the ability to sort by column headers in AP Invoice Payment Selection has gone away as well.
There is the sort button however this was something that was in the program that customers would like to see added back.

In the 2025 Release, scheduled for April 2025, we are adding a Switch View button in A/P Invoice Payment Selection. This button will toggle between the original list view, where you select invoices using the Ctrl+Shift keys, and sort columns by clicking on the heading, and the new grid view that has the Include check box.
Although we had 188 votes on the ideas site to change the way invoices are selected in A/P Invoice Payment Selection, we had a few customers and partners tell us that they preferred using the Ctrl+Shift keys, so we added that functionality back into the product.
