I’ve observed consistent user confusion when navigating the Visual Process Flow. For example, within the Sales Order area. Currently, when selecting “Sales Order,” the heading displays “Sales Order” with a subheading of “Sales Order Entry.”
This labeling suggests a narrow scope, leading users to believe the section is limited to order entry only. In reality, this area supports a broader range of related activities, including:
- Quote creation and conversion
- Sales order processing
- Returns and RMA workflows
- Additional related transactions
Because users often rely heavily on headings for navigation (without reviewing the full layout), this can result in missed functionality and incorrect assumptions about system capabilities.
Recommendation:
Update the heading and/or subheading to better represent the full transaction scope. For example:
“Sales Order Transactions” (aligned with existing hint text), or
A similarly inclusive label that reflects the end-to-end process
This small change would:
Improve usability and user understanding
Help users more intuitively navigate available functionality
