When deleting an entry in cash management, the CM balance does not consistantly get updated. Therefore the CM balance to GL balance is out of balance. The only correction is to manually change the CM balance with 'audit activity' on. Most users do not know about this field or how to correct.

Cash Management should not allow to void or alter any register balance in a closed accounting period. You should never have to reconcile a prior month after you have already done so. If a check is voided, it should reverse in the current month that is open, again, not go backwards. To track or make adjustments every month to account for voided checks is absurd, clearly it is unknown how many times this needs to be done in the construction field. Not only that, it goes against all accounting standards to post or alter a prior period that has already been reconciled.
