Who would want this: All insurance/restoration contractors who use the Xactimate estimating software honored by insurance companies.
Why its valuable: Businesses who need exceptional reporting with a detailed accounting system will be able to seamlessly export estimate items from Xactimate and import into Sage 300 estimates.
How would it be used: A simple database match up between Xactimate code/line items to cost codes within the Sage 300 database. This would allow estimates to be exported from Xactimate and imported into Sage.
Currently there is no integration with Xactimate into a solid accounting system such as Sage 300. This would benefit many specialty and restoration contractors by allowing them to control their company in an accounting based system with integration into a software required by the insurance companies they work for.
