When an account is no longer used, allow for it to not show on reports and lists in other applications.

  • This has been a demand for many customers for over 20 years. Not sure why it cannot be added, it is a necessary accounting feature.

  • it is so simple and every other system has this. It's crazy that they have done nothing about this.

  • We really need this!!! We had this on Sage 50 so I don't know why this wouldn't be available on the newer Sage 300 version.

  • YES! I don't want to delete an account and lose all that history, I just want users to not be able to post to it.

  • I have seen 2 different requests for this process. One would think this would be a no-brainer and a quick fix with a check box. Not sure why such a basic accounting process has not been implemented.

  • I'm still amazed that this has not been a priority. Even QB basic version allows for accounts to be made inactive. Most people do NOT want your work around of waiting 10 yrs. from the last posted balance and then deleting the account. This request really needs to be at the top of your list of your things to fix.

  • I agree, this seems like a basic function that should be available. The DNU solution does not always work, entries are still able to be posted. This should be a priority.
