Sage 300 Construction and Real Estate: We would like to have the option for employee name default for entry on the timesheet payroll entry screen instead of by employee number. Would also be beneficial for payroll check entry as well

We have several employees and are not always able to memorize the employee id numbers. It would help with faster time entry and check entry if you could have a default to search by employee name instead of employee number, check number or social security number.

Would love to search by first name too as many times the supers say things like "the Mike that worked for us last summer". they don't always remember last names!!

Definitely need a better cross-reference system for names and SSN's.

As the other comments suggest it is difficult to memorise Emp ID numbers when you have 375 staff. Would like to see both number and name when choosing a range in reports
