This would save time and allow for greater accuracy. Our old software allowed us to post from any module to any module. After selecting a control account in the entry in GL for example it would bring up all key fields so it could post a full entry to AR, AP, SM etc. We were able to post directly from AP or PR to SM as well, in particular this combined with storing the work order data for SM entries in the JC Current file would help us reconcile exactly like we do for job costs and also report properly on revenue or costs by city or state completely with one report.
