In Payroll, let us mark an employee as inactive. Then by default, have the PR reports exclude inactive employees.

  • Excellent idea, but just keep an option to print reports with those employees inactive.

  • This can be done in Sage 300 CRE. You can create it under Employee Checklist. I have mine set up as active and all active's have a check mark and inactives is left blank.

  • Yes! Some employees return some do not, allow employees to be terminated or inactive.

  • Beverly, I agree that it can be done through the Employee Checklist; however then all of the reports would need to be customized to exclude inactive employees. It would be nice if Sage had this "Inactive Employee" feature in a future release. Sage did an excellent job when they added the "Inactive Vendor" field, and updated the vendor reports accordingly!
