It would be nice to be able to type in a billing email address and be able to check a box that will send the invoice by email, instead of printing. More and more customers are asking for invoice by email and currently we need to remember which customer want this. Especially in the Service Management module. Can it be set up, so that when an email invoice box is checked, it automatically sends by email instead of printing?

  • But then the invoice needs to be sent to someone in charge of Docu Management as well. So it can be uploaded for a query.

    Also, if the work order can be sent with the invoice.
    Billing by email should be a must. This is the wave of the future.

  • THIS NEEDS TO BE MADE A PRIORITY!!!! NOW CUSTOMERS MOVE ON A DIME OR CLAIM THEY NEVER RECEIVED IT SO EMAIL MUST BE AN OPTION WITHIN THE NEXT MONTH OR SO.

  • I agree! Far too cumbersome a process as it is now. More and more customers are asking for it. It would make it so much easier to invoice in SM.

  • I agree! I just was going to submit a case with that enhancement request. It is too cumbersome the way it is now.

  • I have set this up for several of my customers using MyAssistant. It is definitely doable. Can also be used for AP payment notifications and PR paystubs (and many, many more things).
