During our installation process, we were advised to enter several cost codes to use for training and now we can't get rid of them. Our cost code list begins with 11 cost codes that say DO NOT USE. We can't delete or hide them. We also have account #'s that were used when we transferred our account balances over from our old software that aren't used in at all in Sage. If we can't delete them, we would like to be able to hide them.

I agree. Sage's suggestion to me has been to delete unused codes. However, then you'll end up with audit trail problems. You should be able to render old JC and GL codes inactive without deleting them, and where they cannot be used and can be hidden from standard inquiries and reports.
