It would be nice if the purchasing system had an add-on option of taking a specific line item (or all line items individually if the prorate box is checked) and multiplying it by a factor instead of increasing it by a specific dollar amount. When we purchase lumber in California there is a lumber surcharge that is 1% of the dollar value of that item ordered. Currently, we can use an add-on to add a fuel surcharge and prorate that dollar value acrosss all the line items by percentage of the entire order amount, but we can't say that the amount we want to add on is an additional amount equal to a percentage of that line item.
