In AP, I want the percentage amount entered in vendor setup to automatically prefill on the subcontractor's invoice without a Commitment. We don't use commitments, but do enter many line items (cost codes) on an invoice and having to type in the ten percent every time is onerous and unnecessary. Or in Job Set Up there could be a place where we can say retainage is a certain percent on every cost code. We could prefill ten percent there and then change the few that are five percent. But since retainage is associated with a subcontractor rather than a cost code, the AP idea makes more sense to me. It could be a condition in AP where you choose whether retainage prefills only on Commitments or if it prefills on all invoices. Thanks!
