This software hasn't really made any strides in being more user friendly since I started using it in 2001. And, it is still unattractive :)

Hands down, this needs to happen. Especially since Sage acquired Simply Accounting (now Sage 50); it would be nice to see some of its great interface features integrated with Sage 300 CRE.
While user friendly look would be nice I'd prefer some basic accounting enhancement requests are completed first if you're allocating resources! AR $0 deposit to be able to clear offsetting items. Ability to post directly to SM WOs from PR and AP. Ability to report on all information on Work Orders and Jobs out of job cost module. On the fly edit register during bank reconciliations. One canned bank reconciliation report that prints instead of having to print 3 reports to verify a bank rec. Date error prevention. Inventory - a way to run this like job cost so it doesn't allow variances to the schedule from the general ledger. Equipment - have equipment post to GL and AP recurring entries so we'd only have to go to one spot to setup equipment and be able to use it simply to record and track equipment without costing it.
