When inquiries are exported to excel the date fields are not formatted as dates and therefore can't be sorted by date.

The reason Excel doesn't recognize as dates is there are extra spaces in the date field. This happens on many of the fields. Click on a date, then click up in the formula bar where the date is also displayed and use your arrow keys to move all the way in each direction to determine how many extra spaces need to be removed. I usually have to remove 3. Then use find replace to correct. It's a royal pain and I hope Sage can get this fixed because it's not only the date field that comes through with extra spaces.
Please fix/remove the extra spaces before the excel exports of inquiries. I can only imagine the collective time/cost savings to your customers!!
