We would like an enhancement to the General Ledger account setup that allows us to Close or Inactivate a GL Account. This would prevent entries from posting to an account that is no longer used.

  • This is so rudimentary, you would think they already have it. This would make life so simple. Every other accounting software has this ability

  • I could not agree more - it is no different that being able to inactivate a vendor no longer in use.

  • From knowledge base articles, it seems like your other products have this capability. Please add it to Sage 300 CRE as well.

  • Really need this feature. Its ridiculous to have to condition or export to separate out the accounts you dont need.

  • Please implement as soon as possible. Even when you show DO NOT USE in the account description staff still posts and J/E's are needed.
