Need to be able to navigate Job Setup with keyboard as before. Now when I want to close a job, I need to type the job number, grab the mouse, move it over to the status tab, click closed, click save, then click back into the job number and type the next job to close. Before Sage made the updates to the Job Setup, one could type the job, tab, tab, enter, alt-s, and then type the next job. There is now no way of quickly selecting SAVE job, you have to move your hand from the keyboard to the mouse and manually click it. If this is supposed to be an improvement, it's difficult to see how. It might look "prettier" but it is way less functional now.

I was with you on the new job setup in Job Cost. Prettier, but irritating if I want a list of jobs, and have to click on the 3 little vertical dots. However, Alt and S will save changes, and Alt and E will take you back to the Job # field. The cursor keys will move thru the list of sections on the left, and Tab will get through the fields on the right, and Shift & Tab will work in some cases within the right section.

In Job Setup, Custom Fields, Numeric Fields 1-4, Alt+S doesn't work. Also, inside Custom Fields tab, I have to tab 5 times after I enter a Job# just to get to the first field in in the Custom Fields. I can't tell why because I can't see my cursor.
Screen may be prettier but it is VERY hard to read and to see where your cursor is. Should be allowed to change the background.
I agree with all the above comments. The new JC setup window is awful. It's a completely separate and huge window that takes up most of the screen. It doesn't allow me to view more than one module at a time and it's so slow. I can no longer navigate through the tabs quickly using the hot keys. PLEASE bring back the old job cost setup!!!
I agree with the keyboard movement. In v17.1.6 Rev 6, the field-to-field cursor movement does not highlight the fields like it used to. We now must click & drag with the mouse to change/delete a field. This is especially annoying because we utilize LOTS of Custom Fields, and a scanner for filling those fields. The scanner used to overwrite data, but now we must use the mouse to drag over every field to delete old data first. PLEASE CHANGE THIS BACK!
I agree with Missy W.! This makes data entry so slow. Please allow tabbing through fields highlight the entire field.
