When printing historical Financial Satements it is much more logical to simply type or select the month and year you need to report on rather than "rolling back" a selected number of months. This is especially true if you are running a report more than a month or two back in time.

This is a great idea!!! Rolling back is kind of silly and requires everyone to remember through which month the module is closed.
Sage 300 is 8 times more expensive than Sage 50 but has a lot less basic functionality, let's get Sage 300 to the modern age.
At the very least display the period end beside the number of periods to Rollback.
If we are in February 2017 and rollback 1 or 2 periods I would like to see something like the examples below:
1 01/31/2017
2 12/31/2016
Yes please add the ME date!
it'd be so much easier if they could at least display the month and year next to the rollback period.
