my god, why do you make me jump through hoops to reuse a check number? this is ridiculous. I issued a hand written check so I cant change the number in my system. I entered it incorrectly with a 2014 date, so it wont post. I just spoke to tech support who told me what a convoluted resolve it is. this is ridiculous. software is supposed to make things easier, but some of your steps do not comply with that purpose

In our circumstance, since we can't select a seperate default printer for checks, when checks get printed to the wrong printer there is no easy way to reprint those checks using the same check numbers they initially should have been printed on. This is terrifying! I'm curious what the convoluted resolve is so I can maybe institute this and save from having to make sure we don't waste batches of physical checks (and somewhere keep track since we now have a bunch of checks that will appear out of sequence). Ack!
I swap paper with checks and if I forget I print checks on paper or reports on checks.
This would help me solve that
