Doing my YEAR END REPORTING, i have found there to be an extreme FLAW in the data pulling from SAGE to AATRIX. I am a union employer and have MANY workers on and off through out the year. After receiving conflicting data from several Sage Employees, it has been made extremely clear that the ACA filing has not been perfected. Here is my suggestion.
When a employee is Terminated, they should have their ACA status in their employee folder set to "NOT WORKING", when this is done, at the end of the year the ACA COMPLIANCE REPORT should FIRST look at whether the employee is working and SECOND, if they are "NOT WORKING", it should look to see if they have Gross Wages Earned in the year which is being reported. It should not just look at the STATUS under the ACA tab within the employees folder.
DUE TO THIS, i have to go to many place, under their status (if i can even find all the employees) and then place them back to "NOT WORKING"....all of these steps are redundant and a waste of my time.

Shannon,
I so agree with you. This is such a mess for union contractors. They should just let you trigger the upload by YTD pay for the current or prior year. Then we could leave the status to "WORKING"
Shannon,
Any ideas on how to get more votes for this enhancement?
This issue is not limited to union contractors, anyone with more than 100 employees will feel the pain. We used an ODBC link and MS Access the last 2 years to upload the data but it still takes a lot of time. Maybe this reporting requirement will be repealed before we have to do it again next year.
Bobby,
I think we would have a better chance of getting Sage to do an enhancement to just upload employees with wages for that year.
I do ALL my year end, W2's and electronic reporting and ACA via an Access connection I created. The software SHOULD provide this service but defers to Aatrix. It is ridiculous to have to pay for something the software should provide automatically.
