When entering a General Ledger account (for example, in GL - Record Entries), if you are using a prefix/base structure, Sage does not warn you if you accidentally enter the wrong prefix with a base account, thereby creating an account that does not exist. Not only do you end up entering transactions into the wrong account, but it creates an account that should not be there. This has happened multiple times to us over the years. Why is there no warning in place?? PLEASE put a warning saying 'This account does not exist. Do you want to create it now?' This would spare users SO much trouble.
