Our old accounting system tracked change orders using another field called CO# (like the extra field) that was available in all modules. This allowed for us to report on cost codes easily and accurately and even change orders on certain cost codes easily and accurately. It would be much more efficient if Sage CRE 300 tracked change order contract, estimate, actual billed and actual cost in this way. This would also improve an area where Sage is lagging - canned reporting on cost codes especially summarized by cost code division to include all items change order contract, estimate, actual billed and actual cost (right now contract and billing information is not summarized on cost code divisions which is very inefficient and a basic feature needed).
