There is a comments field (100 chars) in the Subcontractors tab and a Description field (prefills with cost code description if one is entered) but we cannot find a good place to actually record what is being done on the project. When regulatory authorities (e.g. BOLI) or compliance personnel want info on the job the first thing they want is to see if the daily report to know who was doing what. For instance for drywall it's "Taping first floor south wing sector A" or something like that. Every sub and subtier has at least 1 such work description of work every day, but there's no place that keeps that info that does not have to be re-entered from scratch every day by a superintendent who hates keyboards. We need a work activity field that is subject to the prefill button from the previous day's report so the super need only edit what has changed, not start all over again. Otherwise MS Word is the more efficient option.
