When entering a direct costs entry, a journal generally prints out. In the event a printer malfunctions and the journal never prints, there should be a way to reprint that page(s).
I called in to find out if there was a way to do this and was told
a.) the system does not keep that information to be reprinted
b.) I could always reverse the entry and redo it
c.) I could pull two reports based on the original batch number(s) to show what was done in the system but it wouldn't show the summary.
How sage cannot reprint such a document is foreign and a bit crazy to me. Not only is this issue part of JC but also several other places too (including AP). Anything that creates such a document should be stored somewhere in case the original never prints or prints with errors.
