We bill our Technicians services based on the skill level required. For Example, we charge a lower rate for someone just picking up trash than we do for HVAC services. Since we occasionally have to use a high skill level technician to do a lower skill level service, we cannot attach the bill rate to the employee.

It would be nice if we could set up a rate table similar to the way we did when we billed through Job Cost using the cost code. Right now, we have to go through the register and edit the bill rate depending on the service provided. We can set up equipment & agreements for recurring items - weekly trash pick up or HVAC Preventive Maintenance and lock in the rate there, but not for HVAC repairs.

Even the ability to set the bill rate by the call type would be helpful...
