We need to modify the original estimate and Contract Item via a "Budget Modification". For example, we may want to move money from a contingency code to a specific cost code & contract item. We want to leave the original estimate & schedule of values unchanged, be able to track these revisions, and show these on reports separately from change orders. Sometimes we need to show a "Budget Mod" column on an AIA style of bill.
