This idea was submitted, voted on and marked complete but several people asked that there be a place where we can specify the file location so these don't default to the data folder for the company. I fully expect some of our people will continue to save to the data folder by mistake then ask where their file went. Or worse they will save the file in the data folder and then complain when I delete all of them as part of our file routine maintenance.
Please vote on this suggestion so Sage knows this request has not been completely addressed.
If this request is not clear, I'm referring to the excel export button in the inquiries. Great feature but slightly flawed.
The request is that we have a place where we can specify a default file location for these files and not have them stored in the data folder. Like any other file location, leaving the path blank would default these files to the current data folder.
We are on version 20.2.

We would also like the option to open the excel sheet first then save. Seems this was an option in v18.

I agree, I prefer to have the Excel sheet open first, then I can decide if I want to save it. Sometimes I just want to copy the downloaded data, and no need to save the download.
