To maintain security over checks that clear and prevent check fraud, banks provide a service called positive pay that requires the bank to only clear checks that the customer has submitted the check number, check amount, date and payee to the bank. The banks require a csv, or comma separated value, file or a text file listing out check number, check amount, date and payee be upload to banks. To facilitate this process, a standarized report showing the required information, saved as in the CSV/text file format, needs to be generated everytime checks are generated that can be uploaded to the bank.
