In the print control, instead of choosing an rpt file be able to give the documents alias names such as Proforma Invoice, Order Confirmation. Hide the complexity from the end user. Also give the end user the ability to print multiple documents such as order confirmation and proforma invoice after posting an order.

  • This would be useful. You would need a table of form names and the .rpt name they correspond to. Then instead of (or as well as) the Browse button, add a finder which lists the allowed form names suggested above, and shows the .rpt name.

  • This is necessary, Customers should only see related reports. IE PO form should only show PO form reports, not receipts etc.
