Access options for reports - When adding reports to Accpac you have the option to allow it for the current user or all users. They want the option to allow it for a couple of selected users.

  • Good idea. Perhaps it could be implemented by adding for all users in a specified UI profile.

  • Even better if it pulled up the users and you put a tick next to the ones you wanted to access the report

  • You could also easily ID which users have access to each report.

  • an idea is to have a security tab on the report, and even after the report is added to the desktop, to be able to add or delete users access to the report.

  • great idea. Right now it is all or else you have to touch each person's desktop to add a report.

  • Certainly need this. It's a pain having to go from computer to computer to put the reports on when not everybody needs/should have access to them. We have lots of these reports.... Even if there is just a customization directory where we could add them from the backend. But I like the click each user idea better. Done in one fell swoop.

  • In the properties box of the custom report, it would be good if you could have the ability to remove it for users via the UI profiles

  • Agree, one should be able to add a custom report to the Sage desktop for multiple users but not all by selecting them from a drop down list. Having to set a given report for say 20 of 50 users is a long process and very repetitive!
