This allows ordered or shipped quantities to not need to be allocated line-by-line. Viz – Detail line item are entered as they are for regular orders/shipments in the Order Entry Screen, with no L/T popup. Operator then presses a button and the L/T lots auto populate the shipped component of L/T for all items in the order. This functionality is extremely important where orders have many detail lines and data entry is slowed dramatically selecting the default lot number when L/T setup options already has auto allocation of lots option selected.
